The Society

In February 2007, a group of passionate breeders founded the Riggit Galloway Cattle Society. The aims of the society are to promote the breeding of Riggit Galloways and hold the pedigree register. We also hold the register for Riggit Galloways in New Zealand.

We meet twice a year, with the AGM held in February in the Midlands and the near legendary Summer Jamboree which moves around the country, hosted by different Riggit breeders.

Members of the society also show Riggit Galloways at agricultural shows across the UK. The breeders who show are all very supportive of each other and happy to share showing skills so do feel free to get involved.
